Rakia is the first festival for plastic and expressive arts held at HANDS at Alexandria International Garden. It provides an excellent opportunity to presenting new talents in a cultural context yet free and experimental. To the experienced talents it provides a chance for experimentation.
The audience is given the opportunity to explore and interact with artistic creation as the place becomes a meeting arena for creators of different fields of artistic endeavor. Workshops would be natural product and means to do so.
The Name RAKIA synonymous to campfire commemorates the memory of the first cultural centers in history…..early humans seated by the fire telling stories, singing and creating art……..
